In February I’m going to be in my first convention Artist Alley, so I’m making buttons of my favorite characters. I’m both scared and excited for this new venture, I hope it goes well!

Original character of mine named Robin – was practicing coloring in Paint Tool Sai. It’s tough learning a new program (plus I’m still trying to get better at painting in general!) This needs some work but I thought I’d throw it up here anyway since I don’t do colored things as much as I’d like.
Busts of some original characters shared between a friend and me. I’ve actually tweaked her outfit a little, but nothing well enough to post. I think it’s crazy whenever I tweak a character that’s been around for 10+ years, but it’s still fun.
I drew this on a notecard during a convention. It was supposed to be a hobbit girl, but you can’t really tell that, can you? Haha, I’ll try and do a better hobbit next time!

 Schoolgirl skin idea - come on it'd be so cute! I like playing League of Legends and my favorite character is Lux, who also starred in my LoL Contest Entry a couple of months ago. I admit I think she and Ezreal would make a cute couple, and I have some ideas to draw them together more, I just haven’t been able to put pen to paper on it. I was so happy when her Spellthief skin was finally put on sale a few weeks ago! They’re having a “draw a LoL character as a pony” contest on the forums and I’m debating entering that, though I probably won’t do a Lux pony (even though that’d probably be really cute)…but (and I can’t believe I’m admitting this out loud), I’m not very good at drawing ponies! It will be good practice. |
